The first free-standing nude female figure in Greek sculpture — scandalous enough that men climbed her sanctuary walls at night. Only copies survive.

Hermes leans against a tree holding the infant Dionysus, swinging a bunch of grapes just out of reach. Found in 1877 in the ruins of the Temple of Hera — one of the rare original Greek marbles from a named master.
